STEPPINSTONE

SteppinStone is a rock/blues band based in Richmond, VA. They emerged onto the scene in 1998 and have undergone many changes. Although personnel have come and gone, the current line-up has hit a solid groove.

Among the things that distinguish SteppinStone are their distinctive vocal harmonies, diverse musical styles and the uniquely soulful and powerful voice of Elana. Their cover songs are often customized to their own version while their originals emphasize melody and variety.

SteppinStone brings heart and soul to the stage with their own brand of charisma and personality.

BLUE LINE HIGHWAY

Blue Line Highway’s sound is derived from a unique intersection of 1960’s Haight Asbury psychedelia and Appalachian blues with a twist of honky-tonk and jazz rhythms. Blue Line Highway will lead you timelessly through contemporary landscapes and ancient hills, occasionally exiting into jazz and blues destinations; it will take you places you couldn’t get to otherwise. You’ll be glad you took the trip. Their new full-length CD called "Life In A Minor Key" is now available.

SCHNITZEL

PAM MCCARTHY

Pamela McCarthy has been writing and singing all her life. She is an award winning songwriter and composer as well as recording artist. She has several compilation CDs out as a founding member of the Floating Folk Festival, as member of VOCAL and a mother. She has a live CD out recorded at Ashland Coffee and Tea as well as her Folk Opera, The Diaries of Rapunzel.

She is a regular at the Richmond Farmers Market and can be seen performing down there 3rd Thursdays Lunch 11-1 through October 2005 as well as page 16 of the Richmond Yellow Pages shown playing down at the Farmers Market. Pam writes wistful songs of love and loss and discovery. She will be releasing several more song packed CDs soon. Look for them at a show this Winter.
